Birds

 

Birds are a highly sympathic group of animals which is rich in diverse. Especially in spring they delight us with their showy and often melodic vocals. In almost all habitats between cities and wilderness birds can be found. An encounter with these predominantly diurnal animals in the closer environment with students is possible at any time.

Main aims of the actions

  • learn about the diversity of native birds by observing
  • develop sensitivity to acoustic signals in nature and recognize their role
  • identify relationship between body composition and habitats
  • development of a bird experience
  • identify reasons of threat to the diversity of birds life and discuss protection measures

Kontakt zu Vogelexperten über die Geschäftsstellen des Landesbundes für Vogelschutz. Diese können Tipps zur Winterfütterung geben und bei Vogelstimmenexkursionen unterstützen.
